Invest in A Place for Everyone to Belong

Did you receive one of our special Window cookies? We are so glad you are here. Please take a moment to learn about who we are and why we love our neighborhood.

Our purpose as a Church is not to maintain a building, it is to worship God and show God’s love to our neighbors. Our building is a valuable tool for that work - As such, it is worth investing in for that purpose. It will be a joyful opportunity for us all to invest this place as a place for everyone to belong.

Campaign Goal

$200,000

You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. – Matthew 5:14-16

How is our building a tool for good?  Let’s consider this for a moment.  On a typical week, CHA and the Philadelphia Bible Reformed Church combined hold seven services of prayer and worship in our building. CHA alone holds over 200 services a year, including baptisms, funerals, daily morning prayer, and special services. Dozens of opportunities for learning take place in our space including Friday night Chinese-speaking Bible Study, Sunday afternoon forums, and seasonal Confirmation classes.

Campaign Goals

1.Replace  broken windows throughout the building

2.Replace air conditioning in Parish Hall and Memorial Room

3. Continue to create a welcoming front area for the whole neighborhood to use
