Special Coffee Hour on Sundae Sunday
We will officially welcome The Rev. Barbara Abbott with an embellished coffee hour featuring appetizers.
To welcome back Sunday School on Sunday, September 11th, we will celebrate with a make-your-own-sundae bar.
Both events take place immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service.
There will be no 5:30 p.m. Church & Pizza on this day.

Remembering September 11 – On Sunday, September 11th at 4:00 p.m., Saint Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, will mark the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. During a 50-minute church service entitled: From Darkness Into Light, we will have a procession of light, prayers and scripture, and a performance—by the Saint Denis Adult Choir and Orchestra—of Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna (Light Eternal) including a slide presentation of 9/11 scenes during the last movement of this work. Local Police, Firefighters, and Rescue Personnel have been invited to join us as we remember and pray for the victims and survivors of the attacks and the rescue effort. We extend a cordial invitation to you and hope that you will join us. Gratefully, Ralph Purri, Dir. of Liturgy and Music, Saint Denis Church

Darby Mission Meal
We are hosting a Darby Mission Meal on Tuesday, September 20th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Community Center in Darby. We will need volunteers to prepare 10 pasta casseroles (disposable aluminum pans provided), desserts to serve about 100 people, and 9 volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up. A sign-up sheet may be found on the bulletin boards in the parish hall or you may sign up through our website (www.holyapostlespa.org).
