Outreach: Backpacks needed for Darby Mission
This Sunday, August 21st, is the deadline for dropping off backpacks for the Darby Mission. We wish to thank all of those who donated to this mission. Incidentally, if you wish to donate directly to the mission at any time outside of the backpack drive, you should make your check payable to the Diocese of Pennsylvania, but write “Darby Mission” on the memo line, and send it to:

To welcome back Sunday School on Sunday, September 11th, we will celebrate with a make-your-own-sundae bar for our children, their families, and parishioners to enjoy immediately following the 10:00 a.m. service. There will be no 5:30 p.m. Church & Pizza on this day.
Darby Mission Meal
We are planning to host a Darby Mission Meal on Tuesday, September 20th, at 5:30 p.m. at the Community Center in Darby. We will need volunteers to prepare 10 pasta casseroles, desserts to serve about 100 people, and 9 volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up. A sign-up sheet may be found on the bulletin boards in the parish hall or you may sign up here.
1) AmazonSmile will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to Holy Apostles. Search Amazon Smile on our website and click the “Get started” button to enroll.
2) See J.T. Wertz to purchase Giant Gift Cards in $100 denominations. Holy Apostles receives 5% of the proceeds from the sale of these gift cards. The Giant cards may also be used for gas at the Havertown Giant and points accumulate from any Giant for cents off per gallon.
