Parish surveys are due December 10th!  If you have not yet returned yours, please do so asap.  We need everyone’s voice!  If you need a copy of the survey, blank ones are on the table outside Pastor Barbara’s office.

Due to busy family schedules, we have decided to forego Church & Pizza on December 11th.  However, our young families are invited to participate in the All Ages Caroling Event scheduled for December 16th. Details below.  Church & Pizza will return on 1/8/17.

Dear Friends, Each Christmas we fill “stockings” (bags) for some of the East Parkside Residents. We decided that we will do what we did last year and fill 20 stockings for grandmothers who are raising their grandchildren in the absence of their parents. You can help by bringing items to church by this Sunday, December 11th and placing them in the box outside the office. Items needed are toiletries or anything that will make them feel special and pampered.  Thank you for helping us bring some special joy to these women who are giving so much of themselves for their grandchildren.  Nancy Haas

Advent Bible Study.  8:45 a.m. through December 18th —an informal Bible Study (with coffee!) in the Rector’s Office.  Come try the spiritual practice of studying scripture.  Led by Pastor Barbara.  No previous biblical study necessary!  No homework!  Just bring your Bible.

Meals for Lois Mather.  Additional persons are needed to bring a meal as you are able.  Please click this link to sign-up. For more information, please call the office.

Caroling and after-party.  Friday, December 16th, 6:30 p.m. Meet in the parking lot at Holy Apostles; map and carpooling will be provided as well as  Caroling Booklets.  Meet at the home of David and Suzanne Lees for the after-party.  Please bring appetizers to share.

Sunday School Parents!  Some important dates to keep in mind: December 17th:  Saturday morning practice, 10:00 a.m.  December 18th: Pageant.  We will practice during Sunday School, so please plan to have your child attend service the weeks up to the Pageant.

STEWARDSHIP  UPDATE:  a little over $96,000 has been pledged to date.  Please continue to send in your pledge cards.
