Meals for Lois Mather
We are continuing to prepare soft-food meals for Lois Mather into the month of July. A link to a sign-up sheet may be found here, or you may contact the office and Bonnie will add you. Thank you.
IMPORTANT SCHEDULE NOTE: The 8:30 a.m. Sunday service and Pizza Church will be suspended until we call an Interim Rector. We’re delighted that Rev. Doris Rajagopal or Rev. Steve Snider will be our supply priests for the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service through the month of July. Don’t be a stranger — join us for summer worship!
Summer Coffee Hour
There are still a couple Sundays that need volunteers for Summer Coffee Hour. Sign-up sheets have been posted on the bulletin boards in the parish hall and here.
– The Vestry has regretfully accepted Tim Smith’s resignation. Marilyn Freeman will join Vestry to complete the remainder of Tim’s term, ending 2017. Marilyn brings experience and enthusiasm to our Vestry. She served on the Vestry at St. Faith and is active in the ministry in Darby. Marilyn has also worked on the Rummage Sale and other events since joining Holy Apostles. Welcome to Vestry, Marilyn!
— Several members have expressed interest in a discussion group to share reactions, prayers, and possible responses to racism and violence. If you are interested and would like to help plan this effort, please call or email Rosemary Hughes.
“Christmas in July” at St. Stephen’s, Clifton Heights
Our parish administrator, Bonnie Prendiville, and her daughter, Nikki, are hosting the Second Annual “Christmas In July” Vendor and Craft Fair at their home church, St. Stephen’s on Baltimore Avenue, in Clifton Heights. The event is set for Saturday, July 23rd from 9 am to 3 pm. Home demonstration vendors such as Tupperware, Premiere Jewelry, LuLaRue, and others, as well as hand crafters/jewelers, will be selling their wares on the front lawn of the church. If you’re looking for a fun time, early Christmas shopping, or “me” shopping, please stop by. Lunch will be sold in the parish hall where several items will be raffled too.
Welcome Church – the first and last Sunday every month, at 3:00 p.m. at Aviator Park, next to the Franklin Institute.
