Holy Apostles will be having a parish-wide rummage sale from 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th. We are asking everyone to start collecting items to add to the sale. Since we are so limited on storage, it will be very helpful if things start being brought to Church on Sunday May 1st. No clothing please.
Volunteers are needed to:
1) help with pricing during that week,
2) help with set up on Friday May 6th,
3) provide baked goods
4) join the sales staff on Saturday
5) make signs advertising the time and place
to be posted the day before the sale.

ADOPT A PLANT…OR A SHRUB. The Property Committee, with the support of the Vestry, is inviting all members of the Church Family to “adopt”, by means of a onetime, dedicated donation, a part of the landscaping plan for the main entrance to the Church and across the front of the Church Hall. The goal is to get the Japanese Hollies, Crepe Myrtle, Lime Light Hydrangea, Cherry Luyken Laurels, PJM Rhododendrons, Liriope, Astilbes, Daffodils, and Tulips into the ground before the hot weather makes planting a risky proposition. Total cost of the project is $3,000. The Committee members have already committed $1,500. The suggested “adoption fee” is $50, but every contribution will be gratefully accepted, and dedicated entirely to improving the public face of our Church Home. Adopt-A-Plant/Shrub envelopes are located on the table outside the rector’s office for your use. You may drop your donation in the Collection Plate on Sunday.
