The “Get Herman to Church Committee” needs you. As you may know for the last 13 months or so, Herman Giersch, a founding member of Holy Apostles, has been coming to church on the last Sunday of each month (and now also on the 3rd Sunday of those months in which there are 5 Sundays). Right now we have 5 people active on the committee and we can use your help! The more people on the committee the fewer Sundays each person will be on duty. Herman lives at Granite Farms Estates in Wawa. It is on Rt. 1 just before you get to the old Franklin Mint building. It takes about 20 minutes from the church each way and you are responsible for picking him up, signing him out, sitting with him at church, and taking him back. He is ambulatory and needs little help (except to put his walker in and out of the car). Herman is very appreciative of our help and loves coming back to his church. If you can help out, please contact Dan Dugan, 610.642.6128, 610.761.2010 (cell); email@example.com to become part of the committee.
